Jaynes Robe began as a gift from Galen to his mother Jayne, when she was diagnosed and began treatment. Inspired by hearing her struggle to feel safe and comfortable with the hospital gowns during her recovery.
Galen gave Jayne a kimono from Japan to wrap herself in comfort and feel secure. Today Jayne is a survivor and her legacy is carried out thru Jaynes Robe's collaboration with Project Hope and The Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Giving is the core of Jayne's Robe
For each robe purchased a robe will be donated to a newly diagnosed woman.
Melissa is Galen’s cousin and currently in her treatment journey.
"I have to tell you that I did feel different when I put it on. It makes me feel like there is a barrier between me and all the negative energy that goes along with chemo. It also made me think about all the other women who feel the same way soon. "
